History

One of the most  oldest engineering school in the country and prestigious institutions of higher learning in the world.

Founded in 1968 the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT) is the oldest of the engineering schools in Tunisia.
Since its creation, it has provided Tunisia that had just recovered its dependence, its senior technical staff ,who designed and built the first civilian infrastructure and industrial networks (road networks, works, dams, electricity production, factories, etc…).

Engineering School

Admitted at ENIT are among the highest ranked candidates in the national entrance exam for engineering schools.

Currently, ENIT has about a thousand students enrolled in the three years of initial training of engineers with a female workforce of the order of 43%.
Engineering training is provided by five (6) departments:
Civil Engineering, Engineering Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Information Technologies and Communications and Applied mathematics.

Open to the world and society, well equipped to understand the economic problems involved the company and with a solid scientific and technological background, graduates of ENIT are capable of performing functions with high technical, scientific and managerial different economic sectors: equipment, transport,urban development, urban services, production of goods and services, environment, energy, sustainable development and new technologies. In addition to the initial training of engineers, ENIT has a mission of research and training through seeks.
These research structures cover all the specialties of science and technology of the in- ENIT and develop national research programs in partnership with Tunisian companies and international programs in partnership with research teams Foreign.

As part of its mission of openness to its socio-economic environment,ENIT is linked to several Tunisian and international companies through partnership agreements covering contracts research or continuing education contracts.

Today, ENIT issues National Diplomas of Engineers in nine (9) specialties
