On the 19th of February 2020, IAS ENIT SBC had its third industrial visit to Cettex.

It’s crucial for us to discover such a full range of services: technical assistance in textiles, expertise, research and development, analysis and testing laboratory, professional  training and monitoring and economic intelligence.

It provides advice and expertise to textile and clothing manufacturers and to public authorities.

Cettex accompanies and supports Tunisian textile companies in their technical and organizational development and offers them constant support in their process innovation.

On the 11th of December 2019, IAS ENIT SBC organized a company visit to ACTIA Group which is an international group from Toulouse, specialized in electronic embedded systems with high added value markets for vehicles and telecommunications.

 We got the chance to visit the place where all innovative technologies are created and discovered how the firm is customized to fulfill this purpose in very beautiful way, you can actually see it in the variety of colors in each department that symbolize innovation for new ideas, stability for big projects, serenity to work at ease and encouragement to take risks.

All of the achievements are done following a strategy based on quality, innovation and customization.

We started with a coffee with the HR manager in the networking area before we began our tour. We visited 4 floors that each contains different departments united with the same purpose and the same vision. We went through almost every single phase of the work, starting with the customer’s needs, going through ideation and modelisation, guaranteeing the good quality in every step of the project to finally obtain the final product that can be sent to be tested and approved. We really learned a lot about how such a Group operates and how complicated but yet amazing the world of industry is.

Today, digital transformation is a top choice for any company that targets to improve its performance. It affects all sectors of activity and especially users whom demands are constantly increasing.

Thus, IEEE IAS ENIT Student Branch Chapter aimed to organize an industrial visit to Vneuron on 13th February.

Vneuron is one of the leading IT companies in Tunisia that works on softwares known as Spark solutions that are dedicated to various fields: Banks, insurance companies, health care, etc.

We want to thank Mr. Fateh BEL HADJ ALI Executive Partner, Mr. Ghassan and Mr. Soulaiman for guiding and sharing information about the company and showing us the different applications made by Vneuron in the AI’s Domain.

The main objective behind the visit was to make students aware about how various activities related to Artificial Intelligence and digitalization are carried out in the company and give them an insight into the professional life.

As soon as the group arrived, the communication responsible guided the students to the presentation room where two members of the Artificial Intelligence department briefed up with an introduction about the enterprise then exposed some projects the company have been working on. The crew opened up the floor for questions about the Artificial Intelligence and the Machine Learning basics. Later, the group visited the work place, the different offices and the break rooms where employees can unwind strengthen bonds with co-workers and relieve stress.

The Company IAT visit was really unforgettable!  It was a great opportunity to spend enough time with technical people and gain professional skills.

Because industrial visits represent an important activity in any engineering undergraduate program,
IEEE ENIT IAS Student Branch Chapter organized an industrial visit to Proinject company, on the 28th of February.

the visit was really very enjoyable and interesting. We want to express our deepest gratitude to all Proinject’s staff,
especially Mr. Fethi Tarhouni Technical Director, and to our outstanding members who showed a big motivation and interest during the visit.
