On the 11th of November, we were delighted to attend the workshop ” Introduction to React JS ” presented by our brilliant media manager Malek Ammar, in collaboration with G2FOSS ENIT.
React JS is an open source, front end, javascript library for building user interfaces or UI components. It is maintained by Facebook and a community of individual developers and companies.
And even though it was an introduction, it was really valuable and a construtive workshop to build our Web App project.
On the 10th of November, we organized a mini workshop about FIGMA Design to introduce the basic assets of UI design as an application of the last workshop of UI/UX Design
Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool which is primarily web-based, with additional offline features enabled by desktop applications for macOS and Windows. The Figma Mirror companion apps for Android and iOS allow viewing Figma prototypes on mobile devices. The feature set of Figma focuses on use in user interface and user experience design, with an emphasis on real-time collaboration.
Additionally, our dear members were so excited and motivated to make their own designs which has really helped us and made the web app design step easier.

2019-2020
On the 1st of February, IAS ENIT SBC organized a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) workshop in collaboration with FabLab ENIT.
We got the chance to visit their manufacturing laboratory and see the different machines at their disposal CNC machine is a machine tool with digital control by a computer. It has evolved into numerically controlled machining centers, allowing complex shapes to be machined without dismantling the part. Nowadays, it is widely used in the field of mechanical manufacturing. Attending this workshop was a majo r opportunity to explain the technique of manufacturing and to give the basic working knowledge required for the production of an item from its raw material.
As a way to keep up with the latest trends and share knowledge with all IAS members, IEEE IAS ENIT SBC decided to instore a new tradition called “IAS HighTech”. It’s mainly a video, made by the active members, in which we choose a topic and put the emphasis on the things that interest the IAS community and the engineering students in particular. The first video was about IOT Technology Investment and here’s the and the second was about the on-orbit test of the materials
In order to participate in the IAS CMD Humanitarian Contest 2020, IAS ENIT SBC decided to start the work early this year so that each phase of the project gets the time it needs to be done perfectly. And to do so, a meeting is mandatory to discuss the different parts of the work and to form committees varying from design to marketing, financement, research and reporting. The first step in every project is brainstorming which was the goal of the second meeting.
